My mouth dropped when one of my morning regulars asked me about this “fat burner” pill… that I totally took in college.
”It’s all natural now…”
She seemed convinced but I confessed to my experience and urged her not to take it anyways. WHY?
I don’t get it!! Why use a crutch to lose weight when staying at a healthy weight is a life long journey???
This goes for any and all shakes, diets, diet pills, supplements and the like— there are plenty nowadays! All ridonculous.

Yeaaaa, so about that.
I saw someone else taking them (shall remain nameless) and thought hmmmm— why not?
Losing a few pounds easily sounded good but ultimately they made me feel very weird.
LIke I had ten cups of black coffee without taking a breath.
I lost weight but when I stopped I had to work harder to keep the results without the help, so what was the point?!
Go the EASIEST route— find your most fun workout or three and do them regularly whilst having a blast yo!
Our bodies don’t need help to melt the fat, we just need to respect that our bodies do a damn good job without the interference!
Feel good about yourself, doing the things for yourself and then close your eyes… fall in love and stay there (stolen from Rumi, he he he).

I wish I had known then that I need not make it hard and take the pills— it was never meant to be hard, we just learned that it wasn’t easy.
I’m here to tell you that it IS easy, and fun and magical but only when we say no to the stupid hydroxy cut… SO pointless.
Melt them barriers and let the magic commence.
